For the golf enthusiasts, Golf Centre Manche offers a 9 hole course 5720m with a par 70, the Club offers; club hire, restaurant, bar, golf shop, buggy, motor trolley hire and only 15 minutes drive from Le Grand Camelia Guest House.
 

You can enjoy a day out on the mini-train rides, go carting, horse riding, and sight seeing or cycling in the countryside. Or you can explore the Normandy beaches with miles of coastline, Bayeaux with famous tapestries, Villeudieu-Les-Poeles with its famous copper factories and zoo, Granville, Caen for shopping and its Festyland Fun Park.

 

Honfleur with its picturesque harbour has long been a favourite haunt of artists and tourists alike. Drive over the enormous Pont de Normandie to reach Le Havre and Ste Adresse – with its sandy beach and watersports. Caen is a good base to explore the D-Day Landing Beaches. Fashionable resorts include Deauville and Trouville.

 

St Lo also offers its National Haras (stud farm), an outdoor aqua centre with shops, restaurants, bars and weekly markets.  Coutances historical town with its beautiful cathedral and from Carentan you can take a train to Paris in less than 3 hours.
