A warm Scottish welcome awaits you with Rab and Helen at our Le Grand Camelia Guest House with scenic surroundings and rural atmosphere in beautiful Normandy, France. Normandy is a rich gastronomic area with its fresh fish ("when Dover soles cross the Channel, they arrive in Dieppe") and shellfish, duck, cream and, of course, the famous Calvados and cheeses like Camenbert, Livarot, and Pont l'Evêque.
Having successfully and thoroughly enjoyed running our guest house in South West Scotland for seven years, we decided that we needed a change. And in late 2006 our dream came true when we found our lovely property here in the glorious Normandy countryside. We have spent time extending the Guest House to provide comfortable accommodation for our guests.
So whether you are looking for activities; maybe sight seeing, heading further afield, searching for property, a relaxing break or even on an overnight stop. Le Grand Camelia is the perfect place to do just that!
